In January 2004, I moved into London Road (a Victorian cottage), which is within walking distance to shops and trains in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. I spent a few years slowly updating the place, adding a new bathroom, rendering walls, and decorating before moving to Chicago in November 2009. Renovated again in 2022. Sold the house in Sep 2023 after renting it out.
